Several years ago Alan Pocock decided to sell his successful and established Surrey building firm and together with his wife Lyn make his hobby his business. Alan, a keen model engineer, saw a market for precision TURNED screws, particularly hexagon head BA screws. |

As a model engineer himself, Alan recognised the benefits
of a quality turned product over the commonly available 'pressed' screws.
Over the past seven years EKPs' range of products has grown and they
can now supply over 500 sizes of screws and a range of materials and
tools for the model engineer.

Three years ago EKP relocated from Surrey to Devon to a workshop on the edge of Exmoor. As their reputation for quality, precision products has grown so to have their customer base and many established model engineering suppliers include EKP products in their catalogue. |
